How much boost?

I just finished installing my A-Pillar Boost Gauge (VDO) from AWE Tuning and I love it. I am getting a max of 6 psi boost. Does that seem correct for a stock vehicle. I have heard 7 psi is what I should be getting and want to make sure I am getting the optimal amount possible.

Thanks

Re: Re: How much boost?

6 psi is the max, or peak. I am not sure if it will hold there but if it does it is not for very long. I am going to find a decent road to do a little testing on.

Thanks

Re: How much boost?

..pick up the 710n diverter valve for cheap..and see if it holds any higher..the stock valve is def. a weak link..
