RCHTA news that's too good to keep.....

.......until April 1st. With the talk of new kits and re-released ones that are including figures comes the announcement of a new series of kits including not one, but two figures! The new "Echoes of Thunder" series will have restored stock cars from the "Ol' Redneck Race Cars" facility reproduced in 1/25th scale and will include pre-painted figures of the car's driver and "the Ol' Redneck Hissown Self", the restorer, with each kit.

The kits will also have all the factory stock parts and will include, as a bonus, custom parts as well. These will be an homage to the original 3 in 1 kits of the past. The first kit in the new series will be Ned Jarrett's '62 Bel Air. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see what else is in the series.

Great to see AMT is still making kits for modeler's of longevity.

Seriously, are they ever going to prepair for the future? Those kits will satisfy only the most minute of segments, are these actually new tooling?

I'm more relieved it wasn't real, yet I wouldn't put it past AMT, it would have made perfect sense.....to them.
