Can I lower it 3"?

I just got my 18x7.5's today, slapped em on. I realized the wheels stick out past the wheel wells a little bit. I was planning on lowering my car 3", will the tuck into the wheelwells when i lower it, or will they stay out like they are. I'm guessing i can only go 2". Has anybody had any problems with bottoming out on the wheelwell with a 2" drop at all?

depends on your offset but im guessing they wont come in enough even when lowered since you say they are noticeably sticking out

Well i mean, if you look down from right above, you can just barely see the tire. The wheel will move in a little when i lower it right?

the tops will move in a little, hence negative camer. what is your offset? thats more important then size/width.

Ya, but then when i put on the camber kit, they will be straight again. I just figured the suspension would compress more, bringing the wheel in a little.

IMO but 3 inches is way to much to lower any car.

The only way you'll know if they'll rub is when you lower it. If they do you'll have to "roll" you fenders.

It probably would've helped if you lowered your car first. But that's too late.

blah camber kits suck. I didnt realize you had a 4th gen at first. heres my car with a 2.25 drop and 18x7.5" wheels. I had slight rubbing. tires were 215/40/18 which are little bigger then they should have been. I ran the same size on 17's. anyways yea the main thing will be the offset. and yea I agree with darkaccord too. I personally think my drop is already too low in terms of daily driveability, but I do think it looks nice.

Ya, 2.25 looks nice. I guess 3 is kinda out of the picture. Do you have dropzone springs? I dunno if i want springs or coilovers. Cuz i know coilovers ride crappy, but wich would give me better handling?
