5.7 liter engine

Jus askin a question to the techs and mechanics. I have a 97 yukon with the 5.7 litre engine. It has 89000 miles on it and i've only replaced the water pump and intake gasket. Jus wondering how many miles have you guys seen in these engines. Jus wondering should i keep it and go over 100k or maybe look for a new truck. Also replaced the tranny 3000 miles ago...Thanx for the advice in advance

As long as you change oil and do the other maintenance regularly (as sugested)it should last 200,000 easy. I have 192K on my '95, and its still going strong. I've replaced a water pump and an idler pulley
