Anyone done that yet?
Has anyone done the swap from cable to hydro tranny? What does it take to put in the hydro clutch lines, and what car do the donor parts come from? I am really liking the idea of the kit from HASport! When did the Integras start getting hydros? What about the civics?

Okay, first off. Integra's went hydro in 94, so 94+. Civic's went hydro in 92, so 92+. Secondly, in reference to the hasport cable-hydro and hydro-cable kits, I don't know of anyone personally who has done it yet, but Honda Tuning had an article on it (using the Hasport kit) in the June 2003 issue (pg 60-71 on cable-hydro, sub-article on pg 68 about hydro-cable) on that very topic, and covered the swap with the hasport kit in detail (92 B17 GSR into a 92 VX hatch). This should help you cover the details on what it takes to do the swap, etc It's a pretty detailed article. As for tranny's I do not know if you mean first gear, second, final drive, etc...so...here is a like that covered all the b-series trannys, cable and hydro....it should answer your question. http://www.allmotorhonda.com/techpag...anny_specs.htm I hope some of this helped. |
