pistons
If i were to upgrade my pistons to some JE 10.5:1 and maybe some crower rods would i see horsepower like a GSR (i have an RS)?? Since it has the same cr and all with the pistons, the only diffference is vtec right.
So if i had these JE 10.5:1 pistons, Crower rods, AEM cold air, DC sports 4-2-1 headers, a new cat, and an Apex-i N1 exhaust, would it be a good race between the GS-R and My Modded LS, or would i blow him away, or would i loose????? This is saying that driving styles and everything are exactly the same!! Or should i go for even higher cr pistons. Like in the 11's???? Accually, i heard JE makes some pistons for honda with a 14 something cr. Would these be bad for the engine??? Thanks. I am thinkin about going with an all motor setup instead of FI. So i would like your imput |

It wouldn't be bad for the engine if you used high enough octane gas. Everytime you raise compression, you restrict your fuel options. I would recommend a higher flowing intake and exhaust if you raise compression with these pistons. As far as who would win, I can't say
