Vtec Controller???

Hello guys I heard from someone about a VTEC CONTROLLER that its much better than CHIP. Is this true? What is a vtec controller? How many HP can it produce?

a vtec controller just controls when your vtec crosses over (instead of the stock 5700rpm you could lower it or raise it or whatever you wanted)

i think what you are thinking of is an air/fuel controller (some of which have a built in vtec controller) like the APEXi V-AFC. thes are basically an electronic way to tune your motor's air/fuel ratios. and can release (not produce) a lot of power. I've seen 20hp gains in midrange power on some cars. I'm not saying that it will do this for you, but it will definitely make it so you can dial in a more efficiently running motor.
