Freddy Vs. Jason: Movie Review

ok so tonight me and my bro went to see this flick, i went in not to expect much, and as expected didnt recieve much either. There obviously was nothing scary about the movie, i never even jumped once.

the movie was actually pretty funny to watch, as many many movies, TV, and video games have rotted my mind and am so used to seeing killing.

anyway, the story is that freddy has come back to haunt people's nightmares, but for his powers to work, people must be aware of him and fear him, so freddy "hires" jason to do some killing, making the local cops think that its freddy doing the murders.

alot of killing in this movie made it interesting to sit through, but hardly a great movie, the acting was terrible, and the story was pretty slim, however the jokes, and the killing, and the senseless nudity made up for some of it.

2 stars out of 4. Rated R for strong gore, violence, language, and nudity.
approx 1hr50min

I'm surprised you'd be expecting enough to be let down from...

All I know is, my name is Jason.. and I'm going to be hearing a lot more "Jason" name sake jokes for a while... cause I did right after Jason X.

Not going to see the movie though... I'll probably watch it just like all the other friday the 13th movies, and nightmare on elm street movies..... see them like 10 years later when I'm sitting around watching TV and there's NOTHING else on.

There's a good chance that there will be a sequel.

Jason definately won the fight!. He kicked Freddy all over hell and back! Freddy may have cut him a few times but Jason ripped body parts off a few times. I like the "wink, wink" at the end too. Definately room for a sequal.

me and my friends were thinking.. if u think about it.. the movie had 2 endings.. one in the dream (freddy fucks jason up - jason dies in the lake).. and then the 'real' one.. which coulda been another dream of someones?.. the whole 'real life' and 'dream' thing makes it so many different posibilities its not even cool... . but who knows, i just hope jason always fucks his ass up... gotta luv the silent but deadly type

thats a good point with that dream thing, never thought of that.

in reality, Freddy could have one, i think the sequel will be Chuckie Vs. the Leprechaun.
