i have two questions.1st,i'm 14 and i love cars.Moreless Civic's.But i'm looking at geting a 97 Honda Civic Ex.And i want to know how much you would pay for a car like that.I'm going to get Greddy exhaust and headers. And all that stuff. And then i want to do a swap.I want to put a B16B or a B18C in it.But where do i get a motor and what all do i have to get for it.Like transmission, linkage, mounts, ecu and that stuff.Or what would be best.I know it takes money and time for all that.If you can help me out i would really like that

From what i understand is that you are gonna put exhaust air intake headers etc on your motor and THEN swap in a new 1. If this is the case then just save your money and swap the engine and then put mods on it. But jsut save your money.

yea it wouldnt make sense to waste the money on the parts if you know your gonna swap, just save ur dough.
car in good condition should run ya around 5g or more, engine around 1500-5000 depending on model of motor you get.

I have one question. If you plan to swap, what's the reasoning behind buying the EX? You could just get a DX hatch and swap. I understand if you want to retain things like AC and power steering but you could get lucky. My girls 99 hatch had both.
