H series frank?
ok, I was planning on a integra and bulding a crvtec but just bought a 97 accord LX sedan 5 speed.
and want to eventually put in a H22a, but was thinking of the H23/H22a frankenstein and was wondering how much more powerful is it than just a H22 swap?

you mean at the wheels? cuz the H22 has 195 or 200 @ the crank, so like 170@ the wheels.

yea that means to the wheels. so youre gonna gain about 15-20hp. but how much extra would it cost to do this? you can get those same results with a good set of cams.

ok, well, it would cost the price of a H22A swap plus how much I could find a H23 shortblock from a junkyard or 1000 extra for a H23 longblock, then I probably couldnt make back the full 1000 bucks, but id have these to sell.
H22A shortblock H23 cylinder head/ intake manifold/ exhaust manifold/ alternator/ distributor, and whatever else is extra. but i will probably just put in the H22 swap and then when i later rebuild it to hit 13's Ill bore it and have it sleeved to (dont know the bore of the H series, but is boring it to a 2.4L doable)

i have no idea if thats possible, but i say keep the h22 and just work that. dont worry about the h23. i would think doing shit like that has gotta hurt the stability of the engine. just strengthen and boost. and i dont think you'd have to bore to hit 13's, but it sure wouldnt hurt.

I actually kinda want to go all motor and just have a moderate shot of N20 to lower the times at the track.
I was thinking of 11.5:1, stage 2 cams, beefy rods, sleeved at 2.4L, upgraded valvetrain, P&P, all bolt ons, hondata s200. and then at the track 75shot wet kit, maybe only 50. how much you think it would handle. but I am gonna just start with the H22.
