Your 94 has 252K already! Goddamn! I hope those are highway miles.
Anyway, my dad had a 89 Accord that he ran to 235K before it was "totaled" in early 2001 (right headlight/bumper mangled. repair cost was more than half of value of car ) But the car ran great, I loved drivin that thing around before I got my own. He had mostly highway miles. Only replaced clutch once and had reg. maint.

My Accord has 195k on it right now. Just regular maintenance keeps the beast running well.
I've had it for six years and just replaced the clutch last year. I need new wheel bearings and upper control arms, a new distributor, and possibly to rebuild my carburator, but nothing's broken -- just worn out from use. The car's almost twenty years old. I don't do anything out of the ordinary to keep it running though. Just preventative maintenance like changing fluids like you're supposed to, replacing belts and hoses, keeping on top of brakes, y'know -- regualar maintenance. That alone will be the biggest help to prolonging the life of your car. Neglect will send it to it's grave in a hurry. If I can get the money soon, I would like to flush and fill my radiator with Honda coolant, replace my timing belt and water pump, and do a full maintenance check on it -- spark plugs, wires, hoses, brake inspection, seals, etc. I just did that to my Del Sol a few weeks ago at the Honda dealer (which is the only place I take both cars) and it's in great shape. The Accord's next when I can spare some money. I also run Amsoil in both cars. On another note, I've seen a 3rd gen Accord with like 400k+ miles on it. The block's good for about 500k or something like that I think.

I have a '91 Accord LX that has 375K miles. She runs great and truth to tell I have not treated her all that speacial. I switched to a full synthetic at 250k (maxlife) and I keep it changed every 3k now whereas before it would normally run about 15k before it was changed. Just this past year I replaced all the engine seals and put a new starter and new alternator in. I had to replace the radiator about 4yrs ago due to my own stupidity and a rock, the stereo of course was changed years ago as well as the antena and the inside door handles have beeen changed, but other than that everything else on and in her is original from the factory. Be nice and drive with respect for your new vehicle and she will last you a long time.
