Lightbulb 3.8L 2001 to LS1 Project

Alright people I'm lookin advice support and all the rest no I dont want to buy a used LS1 so don't give me that one... I only trust myself when it comes to driving a car: This is my proposed Idea

Alright this is what I have
3.8L 2001 Camaro
Custom Ordered from Dealer with Z rear axle and POSI grip
Trashed the Y pipe its runnin on dual SLP long tube headers
SLP loud mouth 3 inch exhaust
Penske Triple Adjustable Shocks remote yea remote Nitrogen Canisters
1le front 32mm sway 21mm rear
Eibach Progessive rate springs lowers 1.8
K & N of course with ram air hood

I wanted to put an ls6 in it but I don't want to go through the hassle of ordering parts one by one I'd rather just go with the ls1 crate.

What do ya think? I still gotta change the computer bell housing tranny correct me If I'm wrong and also tell me if I'm leaving anything out

I've got alot of time on my hands why not put it to use

oh and control arms panrod yes no? lookin to fit 18inch 10.5's on the rear and 17 inch 9.5's on the front ill also upgrade brakes the same time I do the wheels. If any of you notice I attempted to build one like the ZL1 after I bought the shocks I decided I was spending too much money ;-)

so any comments plz

I will take pictures once I get the balls and buy the engine and keep everyone updated cause I know there are alot of people out there looking for detailed answers to this swap.

www.camarov6.com is a fine source to solve any of your questions. A few members there have done such a swap, and in the end (with a used engine) it ran them nearly 5k.

I thought the brakes were the same for the z28 and the v6s in the later years of their existence? 4 wheel disc and the same size.

Might have to custom some engine mounts as well. But go to that website, it's been done
