finally getting to the ac
I've got nothing to do today so i figured i'd finally get around to bypassing that air conditioner. When i looked under the hood i wasn't sure if there would be enough of an angle for the tensor to beable to do it's thing. All i've got to do is pull off the belt and stick on a shorter on, right?

Your going to either need to buy an AC eliminator kit, which will use a free wheeling pulley in the place of the AC compressor. Or move the power steering pump up to a new location, just as it would be if the car came from the factory without AC. Otherwise you will run into clearance problems. Look at this pic and see how just bypassing the AC compressor would be troublesome.
