Z350 airbag

I'm thinking of buying a new z350, but I'd like to disable the passenger side airbag, so I can carry children (not infants). Does anyone know if there is an easy (and legal) way to do this with a new z350?

Any info is appreciated.

You can do it but it seems to be a pain in the a$$. First you have to go to the NHTSA and get their form and submit it and get their approval. Then you have to buy a kit and go to an approved installer. Most dealerships won't touch this stuff because of liability concerns.

I don't understand why Nissan didn't include the switch from the factory, would have cost them about $2. Most standard cab pickup trucks come with these switches. Go to www.my350Z.com and search for airbag switch. You will find several long threads with full details.
