Unhappy 95 S-10 Brake Light on dash stays on

I have a 1995 S-10 2.2 liter truck. The brake light on dash remains on after releasing parking brake. I have disconnected the wire to the parking brake and the master cylinder but the light still remains on. I have tried to determine the diagnostic trouble codes per the Chilton manual, but the manual only refers to the '94 data link connector which is labeled with letters (vs. the '95 model which is labeled with numbers).

How can I tell which terminals on the '95 model need to be grounded to reveal the codes?

Not sure how Delphi systems work (I assume it's a Delphi brake system). But if the brake fluid is low or the FLI (fluid level indicator) is broken OR disconnected the brake light will stay on.

Check the fluid?

You need new brakes. Mine did the same when my front brakes went. and as soon as i got new ones the light was gone. my back brakes went first and the light didn't come on. only on the front the light came on.
