how much did your swap cost?

Just wondering how much you guys spent on swapping for a b16? plus installation? I'm still going to attempt to build up my y8, but i'm still curious on how much and how long it took for a shop to do it for you?

well i spent about 1500 on the motor with all i needed to install it, minus new mounts, but im rebuilding the motor myself, and ive put about 2000 more into it, im doing the swap myself with my friend so i dont have to worry about labor costs, although shops in my area charge around 1000 for the install.

Ive been using a company out of Ga to order alot of my stuff. They are pretty technical and carry motors. I also ordered my seats which were R1s and they actually had the brackets, I didnt even have to fab them...www.nudealracing.com

when i lived out in arizona i paid 1200 for my b16 with ecu tranny and axles. spent another $300 for the rebuild which consisted of bearings...water pump...oil pump as well as new gaskets. we did the swap ourselves using the UTI shop over the weekend. all n all the engine ran really nice and total cost + mounts came out to just around 2g....
