02 max SE VS 00 grand prix GTP

what do you guys think will win?

anyone have specs on each car? my bud just bought one

1/8, 1/4 mile specs 0-60, 0-100

cant find these anywhere

According to MotorTrend,

The stock 02 Maxima SE has 255HP, a 0-60 of 6.0s, and does the 1/4 in 14.7s @97MPH.

The stock 00 GTP has 240HP, a 0-60 of 6.8s, and does the 1/4 in 15.1s @91MPH

Just remember, don't always rely on mags, they can be fairly inaccurate.

Just remember that although the Max has 20 more hp than a 97-03 GTP, it has less tq, which can really help the GTP (especially if the Max is a 6spd). It has about 40 or so more lbs/tq than the Max, and it hits peak tq at 3500 as opposed to the Max's 4400ish range.

Both cars can have freaks running slower AND faster than a mag's times. Look at my car, ran a 14.20 @ 96 with nothing else, just spare/jack removed and 1/2 tank of gas.

motor trend sucks sucks its so inacurate so wrong i say gtp wins seen a race similar and gtp won by afew feet
