The Newest Act of Canadian Parliament.
heard this on the radio today.
apparently the Canadian Parliament, under her majesties orders under advice from members of Parliament, has passed a new act (Bill 97 or something like that) banning... wait for it... DWARF-TOSSING! the bill states that you shall not organize a dwarf-tossing event, nor shall you participate in dwarf-tossing without consent. wars in Iraq? terrorists? noooo, Chretien just wants to make sure no Dwarfs are un-justly tossed.  (if this belongs in the political forum, then you can move it. i just thought the general public in here might get more of a laugh out of it)

Canada is a very cool country, otherwise I wouldn't have gone twice. But this makes me go
 . I mean seriously, any country whose historical events can be learnt in one lesson and has laws against throwing drarves needs to wake the hell up.

lol!
im so upset. thursday nights will never be the same.  and Oz, now you imagine how boring it is to sit through History class for 2 entire semesters. oh well, next year we get to learn about stuff other than canadian history. Although i must admit, the pig war was an amusing lesson
