94 Z28?

I'm looking at a 94 Z28 right now because I would like to have another camaro, and it's the only Z28 i've been able to find that I can afford. I used to have a 94 V6 but it was totaled. I would like to be able to squeeze a little more power out of this thing because it is completely stock, but still in wonderful condition. I'm on a limited budget, and I know I can do the intake/exhaust, but what about a new chip? what can I expect from something like that? Any other suggestions will be great!

Get a 95, but not because of that. 95 is the year they switched over to the vented opti(better distributor-esque thing). The pre-94 ones are extremely prone to failure. Intake, headers, and exhaust and you'll be rolling in your Z28 Oh, and Tazz, if you really just want the "double-exhaust" deal...You'll need to get a 1995 make in the second half of the production year. My 1995 for instance, still has a single cat. That only started in the latter half of the year. And the difference is that there is a dual-cat y-pipe setup, instead of the single cat found on the pre-second half 95s.
