Hey man, how are ya? Keeping the B16A in VTEC, I hope??

Got a few favours to ask of you.

I knew about Setanta getting hold of the factory stickers through you for his JDM EF9 SiR through reading posts earlier on.
Personally, I wasn't too bothered with my car having no badging on it when I bought it, but I've been thinking about it, and I've decided I'd rather have the factory badging there.

I need basically everying: Door stickers - D O H C Programmed Fuel Injection; LR boot sticker (Honda); RR boot sticker (Red Si); bottom rear windsheild left of centre (16 VALVE DOHC); and, last, but surely not least, the centre rear red panel between the taillights (where yours says CIVIC VTEC) - is the "CIVIC" in white a sticker? Or is it part of the panel? I'd like that too.

Would you be able to get those for me? Or point me in the right direction in Chch?

I'd also like the JDM Si floormats (I don't have any floormats) if you could track them down?

One more thing: Owner's manual??

Thanx in advance for this massive list. I don't expect a huge response. Surely it's just a lot of work for some EF guy in Chch... but thanks anyway

I got the JDM floormats with my SiR. But my heels are going through the driver's side one. I'm thinking of sticking one of the plastic scuff pads to it

I'm pretty sure Moppie said he could get all stickers

Ill go pricing tomorow. I stickers arn't to expensive, but the back panel with Civic on it is about $400, so Ill look at a 2nd hand one for ya.

Setanta, theres a compelete SiR at the wreackers at the moment, so if you want new mats.....

My mats should be fine... but I do need a lower console with the flip down cover if it has one

Moppie - You are clearly a legend for helping, well, us
I for one really appreciate what you're doing... using your time to help us out by getting these little niggles dealt to - it's great to have someone experienced and able to get these things. If there's anything you'd like in return, give us a yell

Couldn't get the floormats from a wrecker, and god knows I tried I also wanted to get the passenger side monsoon sheild - mine's broken, but again, couldn't track one down. Only found a 4 door one - not long enough for the hatch door.

Also wanted to make it central locking. Do any EFs come in central locking? I think not... maybe I should pinch the motors out of an Accord?

I have central locking, but I'm not sure if it was factory or aftermarket. I do know it wasn't part of the alarm kit I had fitted.

You have central locking? You bastard!

Iv seen it once before on a fully exquiped CRX SiR, but it had leather, everything. I think it was one of those options people never ticked.

So you want the little cover that goes over the climate control dial? I can get one of those if im sneaky enough.

Im going to go into Honda this afo, and hopefully get a trade account, so although the parts will be comeing from Honda, they will be at trade prices.

sewerage my car has had the monsoon shield removed, theres small marks in the window rubber. I say take it off, and throw it away. But If I see a cheap one at the wreackers, Ill pick it up for ya.

Does anyone know if the Si and SiR floor mats are the same? because I can get SIR ones? I think they should be, as the cars have the same interior.

Central locking should be pretty cheap to do.

Any reason why you cant just go to Dick Smith and buy one of those $30 central locking kits, if youve got an alarm witha central locking output you can even have remote central locking

Well, There are no drivers side monsoon shields in cars at strongs, Most get removed when by the dealers when they come in to NZ. I dont like them myself, they are noisy and ugly.

No Si floor mats either. But I have to back, so Ill have another look.

The red panal with Civic in it is only $80. plus what ever postage to Chch is worth.

and when I went into Honda the parts guy is off sick for the week, so you have to wait till monday for the decals im afraid.

Hiya moppie,

The bit I'm after is down below the climate control and stereo on the lower half of that console. If you look on the pic below, you'll see a cig lighter and ashtray in a different position to yours. Above that is a hatch, not a rounded one like yours, but a square one that had a fliptop lid to it (mine has a cloth CD carrier stuffed in there in the pic). That's the part I'm after - either lid or the entire lower console.

Postage isn't an issue, 'cause if I can't get one I'm going to have to replace it with the same as yours which was also used on the Aussie spec cars. I have a feeling the first owner of my SiR ticked most of the boxes when we compare our cars (bastard forgot the ABS/LSD though ).

I think the Si and SiR carpets are the same... civic logo at the back with the grommet behind it to locate the red post.

Monsoon shields? Are they the wind deflectors for driver's and passenger windows? I tried to get them through Honda here, but it was an accessory and there are none available (actually, I was looking for the optional center console armrest/hatch).
