Monogram 1st gen RX7 with custom turbo.

First off, I'd like to say that I'm only half-satisfied with the paint job on this car. It really doesn't do the car justice. And my camera can't pick-up a lot of the detailing I did on the 12A rotary in the kit, including the turbo EFI setup I scratchbashed using a turbo from a GMC Syclone, a wastegate from an AMT Jaguar XJ220, '99 Chevy Silverado (for injectors and airbox), and some solder.

the fortunate part was that, since I started with the Cafe Racer kit, it already had a Racing Beat header and exhaust. The interior received Hasegawa Lancer EVO VI seats and steering wheel, and a set of Revell Integra wheels with C5 rubber instead of the rubberband Toyos, backed by Tamiya 300ZX brakes, grace the chassis. The chassis also received more detailed struts out of the Lancer EVO and rear springs from an AMT 1962 Bel Air.

Again, all this work and most of it on stuff you can't see unless you see the model in person because of my crappy camera.

Well, enough talking. Here's the pics.

There you go. Now tell me what you think, and I know it's not the best I've shown.

It looks great from what I can tell but the pics could be a bit lighter.
