Slave Cylinder - Need Help in finding one and Part #
Chevy Dealer got me the wrong slave cylinder but they say it's the right one
I ordered the slave cylinder, which came with the hard plastic hose and the fitting. I picked it up the other day, brought it home, looked at it, and it was the wrong one. I called Chevy back and they swear it is the right one. I told them no way - the slave cylinder they got for me has rivets on it, my original one has holes and is held on only by 2 nuts; the hose from the cylinder to the clutch pedal (where it comes through the firewall) is a hard line, my original one is all hard plastic line. Needless to say, they got me the wrong one and they don't think they did. They're going to call GM today and find out if there was a part # change or not. Can anyone help me out by giving me a part number? Also, my local Chevy dealer tried telling me that the 2.8L V-6 motor doesn't come in a 93 S-10 pickup...........ha ha....Now you can all understand my problem........Thanks for any help. -Chris
