Tomb Raider 6 is weak

Longtime gamers remember how impressive the original Tomb Raider was for the time. Over the years, Eidos has been milking the early Tomb Raider success.

Tomb Raider 6 does not hold up well against current games. Many fo the control issues found in Tomb Raider one are still there. Lara Croft should look amazing, but Eidos did not deliver. When you look at the DOA women and then look at Lara Croft, you can see how big of a graphics gap there is between them.

The story line is one the best of the series. You can see teh game had many great ideas, but they never got developed. Tomb Raider 6 feels rushed and unfinished. The enemy AI is totally weak and the camera AI is poor.

This is a rental at best. Do not get sucked into the Tomb Raider hype. Eidos says another Tomb Raider game will be out next year. I hope it us the game that will save the franchise.

Tomb Raider has always been weak

The very first Tomb Raider was a solid game when it first hit the market. The problem is Eidos did very little to keep the game current. They just kept making some minor changes to the game and dumping out on the market. I was sick of that scam by game 3. To think they put out 6 titles using out of date technology and poor design is amazing to me. Lara Croft only looks good in drawings. The actual game character does not have the knock graphics to make her look really hot.
