1/20th scale McLaren MP4/7 Progress Pics....
Here are some pics of what I have done so far. I purchased the "Perfect Parts" photo-etched kit from F-1 specialties just to try it out. It turned out to be a real nightmare. Putting on the washers and nuts is a real pain in the a#$! I didn't even get to the parts that require bending
 !I am going to think twice before messing with PE parts again.

Excellent work so far Deejay27. Do't give up on the PE too soon. The hubs for the suspension pivots look good.

Thanks for the enouragement RallyRaider. So far, I've managed to lose 4 out of 10 nuts/washers I was working with.....and yes, I taped them down....go figure. When those things fly off the tweezers, they really take off
!By the way, I used "daggerlees" tip on painting springs and I must say that I am very pleased with the end results....thanks for the great tip dagger! Here's a link to the tip if anyone is interested: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...hreadid=104625

Looks great, even though PE is a nightmare it is worth it in this case. Good choice !
