I have a 90 civic hatchback i got for 500 bucks because the stock 1.5 overheated. So i put a 86 integra motor in it(1.6 DOHC)
my list of mods so far are: Exhaust, intake, and rims, I also plan to put these mods in it: body kit, lowering springs, projector headlights, euro tailights, Z3 Fenders, carbon fiber hood, and roof scoop. I plan to do some motor work also like headwork, header, cams etc.. I am also looking for an si transmission so if anyone has one for sale please let me know. |

sounds great, only one question. what did you do about the mounts? on 1st gen integras they are totally different than on the 88-91 civic/crx chassis. did you have to get a mount kit or something or did you just custom fabricate one?

civic cx
I live in Mississippi and here civic cx's and 88-91 civic si's are very rare, i have only seen one si and no cx's, mainly dx's like mine but a lot of them are in bad shape, mine looks brand new except a few little scratches on it.

roof scoop
I heard they are a pain to make functional, but the worst thing i have gone through on my car was when a friend of mine was going to sell me his lowering springs off of his 96 ex and we put one of them on and it didn't lower it at all, and it took forever to do because we had the old school spring compressors where you had to turn it each time with a wrench, it sucked, and he was goin to let me have the springs for 50 dollars too.

We need pictures, everyone here will be more friendly to pictures if you talk about your engine or car. Just a helpful hint.
