240SX miles when obtained
Hey. I was just wondering how many miles your 240SX had when you first got it. This question applies to stock KA SOHC/DOHC engines though. I just got my first car, a '91 240SX stock with 174,000 miles on it
Yep, I want to and will swap the engine, but luckily I bought it from a mechanic who took care of it. One more question, though off topic, why are the '91 cams the best ones? Aren't they the same in the same as the '92+ 240's?

'91 cams have 15 more hp than '90 and 20 more hp than an '89.
same thing only single cam VS twin cam. you want a twin cam. 61000 when i bought it

I've heard that the '91 KA24DE had the "hottest cams" (whatever that means) and are the best in the DOHC 240's. I just wonder if it means that it had slightly better tuned cams or something.

Picked up mine with 41K miles
I have access to aftermarket cams for these cars... so if you want to go with a "hotter cam" let me know. |

I heard you can use an altima intake cam because its 248 degrees and the 91 240 has 240 degree cams
what modifications have to be done when upgrading your cams? |
