Aoshima Daihatsu Copen Pandora

This is my version of Aoshima's Daihatsu Copen; kit #058985. There are many versions of this kit, and this particular one represents the Copersche EVO2 from Japanese tuning house Pandora. Apparently. The base kit has separate bumpers and sideskirts which allows Aoshima to tool up the different variants. This version has the Porsche-style (??) front bumper and sideskirts, unique rear bumper and wheels and Recaro seats. This kit was a xmas gift from my nephew and his partner who are getting into cars and modelling; they have a Autozam AZ-1 and Cappuccino respectively half-built in my model room. For some reason this livery come to mind when I first took the model out of the box. It is an homage - liberal use of the word - to the Repsol Honda Moto GP bikes. I did consider adding some parts bins Repsol decals but thought that would be over the top....

Grant.

Interior; note the tasteful floor mats.

With another variant of the Copen. This time the D-Sport car made by my wife many years ago.
