Porsche 956C Jagermeister
Last year I build a racing Porsche. A bit of of my comfort zone, but good fun. The kit was given as a gift and ended up again as a gift when it was finished
Simple Revell kit, no engine and only basic details ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I struggled keeping the build OOB... so some things are to visible to leave untouched. And so the rear wing was picked up for some needed TLC. ![]() The uprights were incorrect for this version, so they were also addressed. ![]() ![]() The it was time to paint. A light primer was used followed by Jagermeister orange. ![]() The parts that needed to be metal, were primed with gloss black. However, I think the paint had gone bad or had some muck on the bottom. The paint layer was rubbish. So that was sanded down and redone with me paint. ![]() The second attempt looked way better and I continued with metal colours from Alclad. ![]() With the first layer nice and dry, I continued with a wet coat in the end I gave 2 more for proper coverage.

Re: Porsche 956C Jagermeister
Time to start applying the decals
![]() And adding those tiny external details and seal the decals with a clear coat ![]() ![]() The kit mentioned no aero discs, but this version actually did drive with the discs in the front. Luckily the kit parts were in the box as the same sprue's were used for another version. I did have to create the correct decals. ![]() ![]() ![]() And turn the model was finished.
