window tint in michigan

i recently got pulled over for having my window tint too dark. the cop was not very nice. he said that it was "an obstruction to my view". it's 20% in the front. i could clearly see, he had me read license plates from cars that were 20 yards away, and i did with ease. i also have a note from a doctor that says i need tinted windows or dark glasses to drive. i fought it in court, and i actually lost! good old michigan for you. they said that they always side with the cops, she actually told me that. i found in section 257.709 that if i do have a note from a doctor, i can have tinted windows. i do have bad eyes, bright lights and the sun give me headaches and hurt my eyes, lucky me. anyway, how did i get screwed, i think i'm going to hire a lawyer, i'd rather pay a lawyer a thousand dollars than pay the court ninety.

also, is there any way that i can enter my car in as a "show car". i've heard of it being done, that way i can have my windows tinted, with the tint, the big wheels, and the system, i should have no problem entering it. i was also wondering if i could drive this car back and forth to work? as it is my only car? please help me!
