2012 3.0 Escape water pump? belt
Just had a small (5-6in) belt break on my 2012 Escape that I had no idea was even there. As you face the engine from the front it's on the right and way down. I think it's the water pump belt (about 1/2 wide) not sure what powers it Cam perhaps?

There should be a belt placard somewhere under the hood with a belt diagram showing this. Or check YouTube
