Favorite gen?

yea yea. i know its been done b4 I dont care. Whats your favorite gen? I only like 5th and 6th gens.. 7th gens are ok. I'm sorry but, Id rather take a 7th gen coupe over any 4th gen. The 7th gen hatch... id rather drive an egg looking metro than that.... For peeps who says they based the 7th gens on a focuz....... I think they based 4th gens on a cardboard box The 5th gens on a fish(dont ask why, too hard to explain) and the 6th gen on a bug (bug eyes)

I say my fav is the 5th.. just cuz I won one

4th - Guess why :smoker2:

1st (the original pocket rocket - especially in RS, Mugen or City Turbo trim. Can be made to look awesome and at 660 kilos, power to weight is fantastic when modded right up.

5th. Smooth look and the ability to take a number of decent swaps.

3rd - only if it's a JDM Si with the ZC standard and the upgraded body and trim.

Not overly impressed with anything after the 5th other than the '99 VTiR/Si Coupe.

5th a) cuz i have one b) theres no pointless grill interupting the smoothness of the hood c) no oversized headlights an asian car should have chinky headlightS(no offense to asain people).......6th gens are only good because the few design flaws were corrected and the "cockpit" is smoother

but overall 5th and 6th im not really fond of the 7th gens..

My favorite is 6th gen (yeah I own one) followed by 5th. I think the 5th gen coupes look smaller, sleeker, like they're more of a forward-leaning design (not to be confused with cab-forward bullshit), but the 6th gens look more solid and also appear to have a much wider stance (even if they are only slightly so), which just looks cool to me in a hard corner. After that I'd have to say 1st generation, just because they were the first, and it would be totally cool to own one. Other than that I'm not a fan, and I definitely don't like the 7th gen anything. The new SI, now that they're back to hatch, looks like the only acceptable ride from the latest lineup, but for the $19,000 price tag, you might as well buy an RSX and have a smooth ride (although the rally shifter on the SI looks SWEET).

4th gens started it all. and I think they look phat when fixed up the right way. With some taste and class. After the 4th gens I like the 5th gens, then 6th. I still haven't gotten used to the look of the 7th gen civics. Yikes they look funcky to me.
