In the market... what to buy?

For 6 years I owned a used 2000 Yukon and loved the vehicle before I sold it in 2017 with 200,000 miles on it and no real issues other than looking older. Right after Hurricane Irma hit in 2017 here in FL, a Realtor moving back to Europe begged me to buy his 2009 ML350 4Matic SUV with 45,000 miles and I finally gave in when he reached rock bottom price I couldn't resist. Got a couple good years on the Merc and it still looks great but this vehicle is now just pissing me off with so many weird malfunctions and maintenance issues that I'm done with it after putting close to $10,000 into it this summer (starter/PS Pump & Res/rebuilt rack/new brakes, new tires, new shocks, struts and springs plus so many issues with electronics on the beast).

I would like to go back to a solid SUV built from 2015-2021. Don't want an XL (too long) but do want AWD/4wd and leather. Would like to keep mileage under 60,000 and price under $45K. If I'm considering Escalade, Yukon, Tahoe and Toyota 4Runner, (any others?) any rec's for which model and what year? I am pretty handy with most items for repairs and use my Autel Scanner when needed but the Merc has me ticked and I'm done with it.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question but spent many years here before switching to a Merc forum. Miss you guys!
