How do I get this hose off?
Hi All,
I have a 2011 Buick Regal and I am trying to remove the Valve Cover. There is a steel braided hose on the back side of the valve cover that I can not figure how to take off. Anyone know how this is removed and what the hose is called? Thank you. |

Re: How do I get this hose off?
On the Turbo end of the line, remove the 10mm screw and then pull the entire fitting out of the Turbo housing. The disconnects are not mean to be released. The fitting is in there with an O-Ring that may be difficult to release. Just keep pulling and it will give. Replace O-Ring upon reassembly.

I would spray with some sort of lubricant near engine where hose connects to the engine wiggling and pulling hose at same time could even take a thin putty knife try to pry it also. Should be 2 orings on end of the hose

I took the screw out but it's still stuck. I'll try again this evening.
