New release Subie kit...

Hey all
Hasegawa are certainly getting the most out of their 1/24 Legacy kits. Just saw, & pre-ordered, their kit of another of Possum Bourne's cars - the yellow with blue flashes car Possum drove as a privateer in the ARC, before being picked up as a works driver.
Happy days!!!!
Worth noting too, I'm pretty sure this became Herridge's car at a later date

Yeah, just saw this pop up too. Seems like I will be adding another Legacy to the stash!

Hearin' ya Potsie. This will make 8 Legacy's in the stash - more than the number of GrA Impreza's

Oh yes, at the top of a slippery slope if Hasegawa keeps this up! I think I am now even on the Legacy vs Gp A Imprezas in the stash; though I have built 3 Gp A Imprezas already. I spent years sourcing two orginal release Legacy kits for a decent price, and now Hasegawa are doing this to me! Now I want Renaissance to re-release the tarmac and open-door conversions. I also have about the same number of 2 door WRC Imprezas I managed to buy cheap many years ago. All with a set of aftermarket decals, so are all "different" and must remain!

🙂 between GrA Legacy's & Impreza & WRCars, I think I will have at least 50 Subaru's once I source kits to go with the decals already in the stash 🤪

There are more of us out there than you realise. I have 3 of the Possum kits on order.

Re: New release Subie kit...

So this kit dropped into my parcel locker from HLJ during the week. To say I'm excited to build this would be an understatement.
I didn't see Possum (or Herridge) driving this scheme way back - Hasegawa recommend Gunze's H4 Yellow for the body colour. Can anyone with some first hand experience of the actual colour confirm or dispute that? If that's not quite right, suggestions which way to go...
