1999 Grand Cherokee death wobble
We have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the death wobble.
I looked thru the threads to find info about it but only found one that had a link to a website, but page not found. I did find another site that covered it fairly well, but would like advice from all of you experts since I have faith in your opinions and knowledge. I have had good luck with other vehicles I have looked up in the forum. Thank you |

Re: 1999 Grand Cherokee death wobble
How many miles?
Been awhile since I traded mine, but new front end parts will take care of the issue. There no single cure-all though. I would do ball joints first, followed by steering parts, shocks and steering stabilizer. But better than throwing parts at it, check out some videos on youtube, a search for "jeep death wobble fix" will get a lot more info than I can type here.

Re: 1999 Grand Cherokee death wobble
Hi Thank you,
the jeep just turned 190,000 I will look up the death wobble on youtube. It's my brother's jeep, hopefully I can convince him to get it worked on |
