Heating/AC Cooling Fan not working
2006 Buick LaCrosse.
Interior Dual Zone AC/Heating control is the electronic Automatic system. Anyway....my Father was driving the car and he told me it overheated and caused the AC shutoff to activate. After putting my computer on it, I discovered that there was no fault code stored in the ECM so I don't believe it overheated and shut off the AC. I believe his AC simply shut off. BUT....now the interior fan is not blowing at all. It's a dual zone system so I assume it has two fans for inside HVAC. Neither fan is coming on. I have checked the following fuses and relays: Underhood fuses: F29 - Fan 1 F32 - Fan 2 Relays: 42 - Fan 1 43- Fan 3 46 - Fan 2 The HVAC control center powers up and seems to work fine but just no air blowing from either fan. Do you guys think it's a bad HVAC control board (the inside display that controls your climate)? Any other idea? Anyone ever experienced this issue? Re: Heating/AC Cooling Fan not working
AFAIK, there is one blower, but zone ducting for the left/right sides. It may be easiest to begin at the power center (back seat?) checking for fuses and relays. Check the fan motor leads themselves for power. If there are no failed fuses and still no power at the blower motor, I'd suspect a relay or resistor array. The resistors are notorious for corroding and failing.

Re: Heating/AC Cooling Fan not working
OK Guys....
I have checked out some things and right now I do not have any voltage going to the Blower Motor Control Module/Resistor. I can't find a fuse or relay that shows it feeds this. Anyone know where this power is fed from? Does it come straight from the Temperature Climate Control Center on the dash where I adjust the fan speed? Thanks |

Re: Heating/AC Cooling Fan not working
There is a fuse for the HVAC system in the right side IP fuse panel.
