Rims For My Lincoln

I've been on an off this forum for a while and its helped a lot of my automotive needs. We got a 2006 Lincoln Town car and i'm trying to find good set of rims for winter tires. Is there any specifics Should look for when it comes to the town car rims??

Also found a set on FB forums not getting straight answers from tire companies if it will fit or not.

"17” aluminum rims. Fit more than one hole pattern. 5x 100, and 5x 4.5. See pics. Center caps. Some abrasion but no big dings. Tire pressure sensors good. 7 cm diameter center hole. Off a 2012 Subaru Outback."

Any help will be helpful.

Re: Rims For My Lincoln

First, your Town Car needs 5X114.3mm bolt circle.

Then there are the other dimensions: Offset, center hole, brake clearance.

The easy way to do this is to buy from a reputable dealer. On line places like Tire Rack or Discount Tire. Your local tire dealer can probably do this, too!

But if you want to go a cheaper, but more risky direction, you could try buying wheels from a Ford. It's likely that the Ford wheels will work on a Lincoln, but not guaranteed.
