Help me to select tires brand

Hi Guys
I have to buy use set of tires All season for my dodge Caravan 2009 and have the following options, I appreciate if some suggest me which one is the best

Kumbo Solus LT-21 A/S 225 65 17 aprrox 90%
Yokohama AVD S33 aprrox 75%
BF Goodrich Salon aprrox 80%

What's the percent? If that is wear. then you are buying used tires and the age of the tires becomes very important - even more important than the amount of wear.

Plus, what do you want in a tire? A tire is a compromise. Treadwear, fuel economy, and traction are tradeoffs. As is ride vs cornering crispness.

Plus, these tires appear to be more or less the same.

Assuming tires in Canada are similar to those sold in the US, there should be a DOT date code that represents the calendar week and year of manufacture. The general consensus is tires should be replaced every 6-10 years, regardless of wear. One factor in the difference between 6 years and 10 years will be what percentage of the tire's life was spent outdoors, exposed to UV.

First, google is your friend.

Second, if you are buying used tires, then ask the folks you are buying them from - or ask for the date code from the tires. If they can't tell you either, then don't buy those.

If you are buying new tires, don't worry about it. The dealer is not likely to sell you tires old enough to be an issue.
