Help me to select tires brand
Hi Guys
I have to buy use set of tires All season for my dodge Caravan 2009 and have the following options, I appreciate if some suggest me which one is the best Kumbo Solus LT-21 A/S 225 65 17 aprrox 90% Yokohama AVD S33 aprrox 75% BF Goodrich Salon aprrox 80% Thanks in advance Last edited by muzokh; 07-24-2018 at 07:20 PM. |

Assuming tires in Canada are similar to those sold in the US, there should be a DOT date code that represents the calendar week and year of manufacture. The general consensus is tires should be replaced every 6-10 years, regardless of wear. One factor in the difference between 6 years and 10 years will be what percentage of the tire's life was spent outdoors, exposed to UV.

Second, if you are buying used tires, then ask the folks you are buying them from - or ask for the date code from the tires. If they can't tell you either, then don't buy those. If you are buying new tires, don't worry about it. The dealer is not likely to sell you tires old enough to be an issue. |
