2015 yukon radio Bluetooth no sound until switch inputs

Ok, this has been going on a while. When trying to play Bluetooth from any phone, the radio shows it's playing but there's no music. (The time into the song is counting up but there's no music.) If I then change the input to radio and back to media, it works. Sometimes it will do that randomly while listening. Any ideas of how to fix this?
