Damage to jeep Cherokee
I have a 1989 jeep Cherokee, 4x4. It was in park and a group of construction workers decided to move it without my permission with a Bob cat tractor. They lifted it from the back dropped it a couple times and dragged it a few feet. The bottom has few scratches and cracks. Please I need opinions on what could be damaged, what I should check. Thank you.

Re: Damage to jeep Cherokee
I would call your insurance company and check if they will pay for you to take it to a dealer for needed repairs.

Re: Damage to jeep Cherokee
I'd get a Police report to chronicle the incident, file with the construction company's insurance and have the vehicle inspected. You might also be able to get them to pay for future problems if it can be shown that their actions contributed to the situation.
Of course this all depends on a few things: First, were you parked legally-if you were illegally parked in the construction site they had a right to move your vehicle. If legally parked, they did not. Second, how hard you want to go after them and Third, what are the laws in your state.
