AMG GT3- Presentation Car. 12th Annual 24hr of Daytona FB Group Build

Just completed the 12th Annual 24hr of Daytona FG Group build. I built the Tamiya AMG GT3 car in Presentation livery. Primer/paint and clear all from Gravity Colors. I also added Goodyear decals and tire goodies from Powerslide's NASCAR Tire Goodies sheet. I know, Goodyear doesnt run tires on these types of cars but I dont like the blank tires. Build was completed in 23hrs and 52mins, which included a 4hr nap cause I didnt sleep the night before.

Kit is pretty much flawless. Tamiya knocked it out of the park with this one. The only real fiddle bits are the rear tail lights, under pressure to complete the build they were a bit of a pain, but under normal build conditions I'm sure it wouldnt of been an issue.

I missed the small valve caps for the race fueler, I lost them in the night and forgot about them. I just found them so I'll get them added before taking some better photos. AMG base is from Hiroboy. It comes with a case top for display.





I've got 5 more of these to build in varies liveries. Kit of the year IMO. Love it.

Great looking build.One thing,not sure if it’s the photo point of view but the rear wing angle needs a little adjustment,it’s set up for lift instead of downforce.
