Radio won't turn on, button back lights still work

My 2004 Alero with factory radio was working fine, I stopped for gas and when I started the car the radio did not power on. Nothing on the display, no sound at all, buttons don't do anything. However when the headlights are on, the radio button backlights still work.

I checked fuses, I found one fuse on the left side of the dash and one fuse on the right side of the dash that were related to radio, both were fine. I pulled the radio out and popped the top and bottom covers off the unit to see if I could find any kind of internal fuse, but didn't see one.

Has anyone experienced this? Is the radio head unit toast? Is there another fuse somewhere I should check? Any kind of reset to do on the radio, or anything else to check? Thanks in advance!

You have to check for power and ground at the harness to the radio......if you have power and ground on those particular circuits, then it's the radio, since the radio does not power up when the on/off button is pushed.....
