Either of the two cars *stock* should be able to take out quite a few of those "annoying little hondas". But i'd go with the m3 without a doubt.

the m3 has class and performance, and it's a much better looking car. but remember that parts for it will be expensive.

u lucky person u have the choice between a 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII *stock* and the other is a 1999-2000 BMW M3 *stock*. I have the choice of being lazy all summer and riding the bus or of working all summer and gettin a ok car. Eh oh well

Now for my oppinion. I would definitally go for the M3. I think it faster. its classier. Looks better. even though the M3 is older i would still go with it. It has more quality, lasts longer, and is generally all around better. After reading these posts i dont even think there should be a question or drawback in your mind.

Again i need sleep and it is late as i write this post please bear with me.

guys hes talkin about a E36 M3 with only 250hp ( not the newer E46 )which is extremely detuned from the europe spec E36 which has 327hp. why would you want a second class M3 that can barely beat a stock WRX? sure the interior ont he thing is beautiful. but if i had a choice to buy a new car vs. an older slower car, sorry i would pick the evo8. even though its detuned also (lack of 6 speed, and active differential, and yaw control) motortrend still got it to do 0-60 in 4.56 seconds, and run the 1/4 in almost 13 flat. plus its got AWD which is great in the winter. ask any RWD guys, during the winter, we can't even pull out cars out of hte driveways, during the winter times i mostly walk or take the bus or train. with the EVO i would be driving around no problem. plus its got 4 doors, and a trunk so its also alot more economical. plus i never thought the E36 M3's as fast, in fact i think they're not all that.

edit: and i find it odd that the M3 got soo much amenities yet they lack the most simple ones such as a tilting steering wheel. i was surprised to find out that they don't have that.

TatII's post as broadened my horizon (i sound like im on pot)

after reading that i would go with the evo. I didnt know the older M3's were slower than the new ones. THe evo also has much more potential at a cheaper price than the M3 and as he said the evo is AWD.

because you posted this in the street racing forum im guessing you would like a car that you can modify and if you want that i would go with the evo
