2002 malibu heater switch or fuse or relay?
My heater blower has stopped working and I am trying to figure what the issue is, 7 months ago the resistor went and I replaced that, but now it won't come on at all, looks as though a fuse may have gone as the right side of the switch isn't lite on the dash 3 through 5 settings, I have had a look at the fuses associated with the heater but can't see a problem with them, could this be one of the micro relays that has given up?

Yep your so right rkvons,
Turns out the blower motor went bad and in turn shorted out the cluster head. The switch in the console and the fan motor had to be replaced, hoping it would have been an easy fix but never is. Cheers Dave |

I changed the resister and the blower worked fine for a day or two, then no air blowing. I wiggled both harness ends to the fan motor, and resister. When I wiggled the fan motor harness end, the fan started working again.
