95 Infinity G20 Dead Cylinder

Hi Just got the 1995 Infinti G20, 188xxx miles. Had been sitting for 4-6 weeks. Said his mechanic says good compression on all cylinders. Engine runs rough, pulled spark plug wire one at a time and #4 is dead, had bad wire, replaced - HOT spark. Still no #4, pulled plug - wet with fuel, swapped plug with good cylinder, still no #4. Interesting: if I remove the plug on #4, engine will not run. Popped from compression. Ideas?? Rik
