Oldsmobile Aerotech
The casting on this Formula Models white metal kit is very nice and clean especially for being 20+ years old. Not really a surprise since it was cast by Marsh Models. After a few hours of minor clean up and drilling & fitting the main core of it looked like this.
![]() ![]() I used some smaller screws (leftover Tamiya items) to hold it together rather than the kit supplied ones.

Re: Oldsmobile Aerotech
Nice work. Is this 1/43? I remember having the 1/24 Monogram kit back in the 90's.

It is 1/43rd. I still plan to do both versions of the Monogram kit someday too.

Re: Oldsmobile Aerotech
The paint with clear looked fine until it cured and a divot appeared in the silver on the nose between the right front fender and the Olds emblem. (It looks like a bump in this photo, but it is a depression.)
![]() I sanded it smooth and blended in the silver, but before I reshot the clear I installed the canopy and last two decals that make the seal around it.
