Pontiac Vibe 2003

My Vibe with 220k miles died on me one evening.Got it home and tore into 2 months ago and it still isn't running. To date I have :
New fuel pump
Valve job
Plugs
Injector seals
Timing Chain and Sprockets
VVT actuator
Timing chain tensioner
I haven't changed the fuel filter or done a fuel pressure check yet.
When I turn the key to ON nothing happens When I turn the key to start then release it the fuel pump runs for 2-3 seconds - actually backwards from what its supposed to do !!!
I read a similar post about a Toyota Corolla with the same problem but I didn't find answer. Somebody please help !!

Re: Pontiac Vibe 2003

While it says pontiac on the outside, it's really a Toyota on the inside......the Toyota version is called the Matrix.....think you will get a better response by posting in that column....
