Peugeot 205 Evo I

The Peugeot 205 Turbo - the most succesfull car in world rallying in the mid eighties, and the winner of the Monte Carlo Rally in 1985 too. I built this car of the winning team Vatanen / Harryman using one of the well known Tamiya kits in 1/24 almost straight out of the box, but with some improvements.

I added many details to the engine room like ignition coils and cables or oil hoses. The body was detailed with PE parts by Renaissance (air intake on the roof, fixing of seat belts etc.) and Scale Prodution (hood fasteners), an antenna by Sakatsu and some mudflaps made by myself. Driver figures are taken from Tamiyas Audi Quattro with selfmade decals

Since the decals of the kit are not really good (too pale) I replaced them all by those made by Shunko. The decals on hemets and overalls of the drivers are made by myself.

Hope you enjoy it:

Some Details of WIP:

Drivers, PE-Parts, anchorage of seat belts.

Driver's seat & Anchorage of seat belts.

Thank you for viewing. I am looking forward for your comments.
With regards
Stefan

Re: Peugeot 205 Evo I

Superb work. It almost looks like the 1:1 deal with the dioroma and figure work along with the great looking car and realistic weathering.
