Hi everyone! This is my first crack at a WIP thread so here goes nothing. As you can see I've made quite a bit of progress on both the chassis and engine bay. I don't plan on adding too much extra detail - perhaps some carbon detail on the wings and in/around the cockpit. So-far the fitment of the kit has been quite good although I'm having a little bit of an issue with the engine hood fowling on the motor and not quite shutting properly. My next area will be getting the roll cage underway and just tidying up the last bits of the chassis/engine.

Also anyone with good reference pics feel free to post - most of mine don't capture the up-close detail I need.

Quick little update - haven't made much progress other than tonight on the dash. Had a crack at covering it in carbon fibre - turned out ok but there are a few creases in it that I'm not happy about. Took a better pic of the engine bay too. Up next is CF for the trans tunnel, seat and inner doors. Ashman I have to ask you with you road version did you have any issues with the engine hood not shutting properly due to it fowling on the engine?

I built the kit for a Scale Auto magazine review (Dec '14 issue) and had absolutely no problems at all. Fit is perfect, a super nice kit! Great start by the way.

Hi just a quick update again, interior all finished up - didn't go overboard putting carbon fibre on everything, don't have enough to do it plus I wasn't planning on doing anything special to the interior anyway. I have to body in primer so hopefully over the weekend I'll have the paint done so I can get stick into the decals
