Heater blows hot air even when turned to cool
2005 Nissan Sentra, replaced cabin air filter and now it only blows hot air, even with the a/c turned on. Wondering what I could have disturbed to cause this. Air blows in all positions, vent, heat, or a/c just hot air. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Re: Heater blows hot air even when turned to cool
There may be fault in heater or its regulator that started working reversely. Fix it through a technician

Re: Heater blows hot air even when turned to cool
Is the radiator fan turning on properly and could the vehicle be possibly doing this as a way to protect itself from overheating?

Re: Heater blows hot air even when turned to cool
If anyone is interested, the temperature control knob attaches to a cable. The bracket holding the sheath of the cable broke and the cable no longer slid when you turned the knob. Nice video on YouTube about this exact problem. Good luck.

Re: Heater blows hot air even when turned to cool
Seems to be a cable problem or technical problem. Can you regulate the heat ? Or is it everytime the same temperature ?

Have you had the compressor and freon level checked?

Re: Heater blows hot air even when turned to cool
Ok folks, I said it's fixed. Don't need anymore suggestions. Epoxy and zip ties are holding the cable in place. There wasn't anything wrong with the AC,just a problem with the temperature control.
